Ocean Blown Salon has been a staple in Capistrano Beach for years, but its true transformation began in July 2018. Under new ownership, the salon underwent a complete remodel to reflect the modern, beachside charm of the area. Rustic wood panels replaced outdated tiles, and walls were removed to create a bright, open floor plan designed for comfort and relaxation.

This thoughtful renovation wasn’t just about aesthetics, it was about fostering a welcoming space for clients to feel at home while enjoying premium hair and beauty services. Today, Ocean Blown Salon combines expert stylists, high-quality products, and a fresh, inviting atmosphere to offer an exceptional salon experience that’s as refreshing as an ocean breeze.
Meet the Owner
Renee Burton
Ocean Blown Salon, a cherished part of Capistrano Beach for years, was revitalized in July 2018 under the ownership of Renee Burton. With over 30 years of experience in the hair industry, Renee has transformed the salon into a welcoming space with a full remodel. The traditional tiles were replaced with rustic wood panels, and walls were removed to create a more open, airy floorplan, ensuring a modern yet comfortable atmosphere for every client.

Outside of the salon, Renee enjoys spending time with friends, attending concerts, and savoring delicious food. As a proud mother to a daughter in her 20s, Renee understands the importance of balancing work and personal life. This passion for connection and community is reflected in every aspect of Ocean Blown Salon, where clients can expect exceptional service and a truly personal experience.
